The effect of Rahu and Ketu on our lives in Vedic Astrology

 Here we will study the effect of Rahu and Ketu on our lives in-Vedic Astrology. Most of pundits & astrologer consider Rahu and Ketu as most dangerous planet in astrology but this is not a true. This statement is used these days towards the client to make him/her frightened and as a result of his/her fear these people make lots of money. They are making such calculations to show that their client sorrows and sufferings are due to Rahu and Ketu.

Now I will like to explain the true picture clear in all aspects good as well as bad impact of these planets.

Definition of Rahu and Ketu:-

First of all Rahu and Ketu are not planets these are only shadow planets. These are two nodes on Moon planets path. North node is called Rahu and south node is called Ketu. The North Node- Rahu and South Node-Ketu of the Moon are points that are directly opposite each other. Simultaneously, they form the Nodal Axis. These are not planetary bodies rather, they are only mathematical points that take into account to the relationship between the Sun, Moon, and Earth at the time of our birth.  More specially, the Moon’s nodes are the points where the Moon’s orbits intersect the plane of the ecliptic.

  Good Karaka of Ketu:-

1. Ketu is karaka for son/male child.
2.  Ketu is karaka of Mukti
3.  Ketu represents spiritualism.

Bad Karaka of Ketu:-

1. Ketu is karaka of direction less life.
2. Ketu represents delay in works.
3. Ketu is karaka of  day dreaming and makes unable to put efforts in practicle.

Good Karaka of Rahu:-

1. It runs electric current in our body.
2. Highly intellectual/thoughtful very brain.
3. Very good in actions.

Bad Karaka of Rahu:-

1. It represents all waste in our body.
2. It makes other planets qualities over spend. e.g. if with Venus than it makes the person to  spend in excess of money on unnecessary items and if  placed badly than   are seen spending on  extra sexually activities with such people whom they pay  excessive money sometimes they keep more than one life partners for whole life.
3. If  with Mercury than these people starts thinking that they are very intelligent in doing so   they spoil their life in over confidence

So we have seen both aspects of Rahu and Ketu. But most of pundits/Astrologer brings forwards bad aspects of these planets.

Properties of Rahu & Ketu depends upon

1. Properties of Rahu and Ketu depend upon the house they occupy.
2. Properties of planets they are in conjunction.
3.  Properties of planets they are they aspects.

Results of Rahu & Ketu are

Result depends on the strength as per the house strength if in  strong if they act strong or favorable but  in  week house or bad house then results are very bad in life.

So, as an astrologer it our duty to study placement, conjunction & aspects of Rahu/Ketu for each individual horoscpe before making any declaration. Its effects on a particular person.
