Palmistry-life line-defect
Here we are going to discuss one off the defect under Palmistry-life line-defect. One of the defects is island on life line. A “∆” shaped sign is called island in palmistry. If this “∆” shaped is on the life line than we call it island on the life in. These types of signs are not considered good in palmistry. These signs are indicators of some kind of hindrances or problems. If it is found on the life line than it is an indicator of some health issue, diseases, debt or separation from someone very close during the period this island appear on the life line. An island on the life line is sometimes considered the worst period of life. This type of island gives worst results at their starts or at the ending time.

- Separation from family.
- Separation of some family member.
- Death of some family member.

- If the island is nearly round in shape on the life line than its impact is on eyes. It can cause blindness, night blindness, chances of operation or any other disease related to eyes.
This island if at less age than this may indicate health problems to parents like high blood pressure, heart disease, asthma , etc. Mother may have problem of fits.
Safety factors of island on the life line
- If the island on the life line is under a cover of some good influence line than these above mentioned bad things will not happens but will results only to some mental tensions of health lose or any such tension, during this period of island. Actually these troubles may not come at all. But if the good influence line/s is dim or week than the impact of Island is week in nature i.e. the problems related to health, lose or all other kind attached to island are of low intensity.
- If there is triangle or square near or covering the Island on the life line than also this triangle and square/s is considered a saving factor from the damage of island.
If the island on the life line is at the beginning of life line than we may predicate that problems is related to health, misplace issues are related to parents who in turn affect subject’s life also.
But if the Island is at the end of life line than it is considered most harmful to the subject as it may leads to old age miseries. But if along with island on the life line also island on the heart line than suffer indicates most likely T.B. or heart problems. In case of ladies having such lines there are chances of Leucorrhoea or Uterus or gala bladder diseases or operation due to these.
